For decades, you and advocates like you in the anti-sexual violence movement have fought to have communities acknowledge the impact of sexual violence and help survivors share their stories. What was once a whispered-about topic is now being revealed, and the nation is taking notice with the roar from advocates, communities and survivors.
Send us your roar in the form of workshop proposal for FCASV’s 2016 Biennial Training Summit in Jacksonville, Florida May 11-13, 2016.
We are particularly interested in workshops on the following topics:
* Working with the faith-based community
* Innovations in sexual assault prevention work
* Human Trafficking
* Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA)
* LGBTQI advocacy & services
* Working with male survivors
* Community-based activism
* Survivor stories
For workshop proposals to be considered, the proposal form must be completed and include a current copy of the presenter(s) CV/resume and brief biography. No workshop will be considered without all of the requested information. The submission deadline is January 9, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. (EST).
