Event: Building Collaborative Responses to Trafficked Victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault


The goals of the training are to assist participants develop or enhance anti-trafficking collaborations; identify victim-centered strategies to assist survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault victims who may also be human trafficking victims/survivors, and develop action plans to implement a collaborative response to address trafficking in their community.

Participation in the 2.5 day interactive training is in 3-4 person multidisciplinary teams that may include OVW grantees, attorneys, legal advocates, anti-violence advocates, law enforcement, faith based providers, healthcare providers, and anti- human trafficking taskforce members. Example possible team configuration: DV/SA program director, law enforcement, immigration attorney, community based organization.
